About Me

Listening, Hearing, Responding

I am a passionate outdoor enthusiast who loves to live, work and play in nature. My pass times include bird watching, plant identification, photography, mountain biking, climbing, and camping.

My interest in GIS sprouted at a young age when I wished to explore the world around me. Creating treasure maps, navigating rivers and lakes by canoe, and playing castle building games on the computer, I hoped one day to make it a career.

After completing my Natural Environment Technician Diploma from Sault College, I set off to Smithers, British Columbia where I worked in Forestry for four years as a Timber Cruiser. I am currently a student at Selkirk College enrolled in the Bachelor's Program in GIS.

I hope to integrate my love of the natural environment and my skills in GIS to safeguard the beauty and nature of British Columbia for all.
